I’m back, and I’m posting the slides of my talk at the 9th Oxford Symposium organized by FEPS at St. Catherine College in Oxford.

Back in 2008, many on left believed that the crisis vindicated their own view and would bring about an automatic change in the spirit of the time, in favour of socialdemocracy. (then a bit of the same happened after the Covid-induced crisis). Let’s not make this mistake again, nothing is automatic in society.
